Thomas Weld, or just good ol’ Tom to his friends down in the mighty cozy little village he grew up in, is a simple man with a good, blood-beating heart. He grew up tall chasing after them boats that would come into shore until he was grown enough to find hisself sailing on one of these esteemed vessels. Travelling across the deep blue makes a man’s back strong and his mind sharp, as his to-do each day was a great big list of activities. In one particular settin’ sun of an evening Tom had a religious enlightenment somethin’ fierce. It was like a God spoke to him through the coins in his pocket, singing the praises of the wealth of men. Too smart to ignore such a magnificent proclamation from some equally magnificent pieces of shiny, Tom got off his vessel of earlier days of heathenism to spread the good word of Zilchus throughout the land, at the low, low cost of 20 gold a scripture.
